This year was my third in a row as a Blogger Bash attendee (it was the 3rd annual #BBNYC, by the way) and my second year as an official Blogger Bash Ambassador. There’s a reason I returned – several, in fact – and this year was, by far, the best year yet!
Behind The Scenes With A #BBNYC Ambassador
As an Ambassador, we have responsibilities that include a little work (but not NEARLY the work that the team puts into it) and a little fun. You tweeted with us at the branded Twitter parties leading up to, and after, Blogger Bash. You saw us at every official Blogger Bash event. You even tried to get selfies with us to fulfill your Scavenger Hunt requirements. We were there to answer questions or just to hang out so you didn’t feel alone.
Basically, we were there to make sure you had a good time and so you had a friendly face to look for when the amazing team that organized the event were stuck behind the scenes. We hope we did a great job (you could let us know when you fill out the post-BBNYC survey), and we definitely had a good time!
Chatting With The Stars: Jwoww, Snooki, And Ginger – OH MY!
We all went a little mad in our 20s, right? As Jenni “JWoww” Farley put it, lets put any 21-year-old in front of a camera to document every moment of their behavior and questionable decisions on camera and see how they do.
No doubt, JWoww and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made headlines as part of the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore, but these girls have since grown and become parents. They admit that they still enjoy the occasional drink or party night, but their priorities are now their children, their blogs, their books, and other shows.

On the other side of the entertainment and definitely lifestyle side of the spectrum is ABC Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee. Ginger hosted the Peanuts brunch and held the stage on her own for an exclusive Q&A session. She shared with us her life as a meteorologist, thrill seeker, competitive TV dancer, wife, and mother.
She even shared with us the first video she edited on her own; a compilation video of shots from one of her adventures during which she found out she was pregnant with her first child. A video that served as a tear-inducing pregnancy announcement to her husband. Yes, we all cried. Motherhood, amiright?!
Manhattanhenge 2016: A Twice A Year Event
As if it were arranged by the Blogger Bash team themselves, BBNYC 2016 aligned with Manhattanhenge, bringing attendees to the streets of NYC. Sometimes referred to as the Manhattan Solstice, Manhattanhendge is an event during which the setting sun is aligned with the east/west streets of the main street grid of Manhattan, New York City. This only occurs twice a year, and this year happened to be during Blogger Bash.
The Ride NYC: Just Get On The Bus And Hold On Tight

I had no idea what to expect, but what I can tell you I did NOT expect this. Whatever this costs, take my money. All of it. I would take The Ride NYC again and again. It’s funny, it’s fun, and it’s a great way to see NYC and all the characters it has to present.
Times Square, The Naked Cowboy, Good Morning America Studios, the couple dancing randomly throughout Columbus Circle. Enjoy an amazing 90 minute route exploring over 10 NYC neighborhoods and 50 landmarks, including Lincoln Center, Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Empire State Building, Times Square, Madison Avenue, New York Public Library, Bryant Park, and the famous Forty-Second Street, to name a few sites.
Connect With Valuable Contacts, Brands, And Friends
Blogger Bash is the ideal conference! It’s not too big, but is a HUGE resource for brands and bloggers. See first-hand the products that haven’t yet hit the market or are currently the hottest item in stores. Meet other bloggers that can become great resources or even better friends. Meet reps that will help you grow your brand.
Trust me, more than once I heard that BBNYC was ‘the best conference of the year’ and ‘better than other conferences’. And, it’s far more affordable than most other conferences.
