Having officially been a published blogger for over two years now, I’ve learned several key factors to successful blogging. Among these are frequent posting, connections with other successful bloggers, and always learning new skills. Incidentally, these factors, as well as many others, can be accomplished by attending blogging conferences throughout the year. My first blogging conference ever, BlogHer, was overwhelming for a first timer, but there was much to be learned. Even for the most seasoned blogger, and especially for the newer bloggers, blogging conferences are key to your success.
This year, I’m lucky enough to be attending at least two conferences, one of them is Bloggy Conference – or BloggyCon – which will be held near me in Sandusky, OH at Cedar Point. Bloggy Conference is designed with community and information in mind – two very important factors for any blogger, old or new, small or large. An extension of the Bloggy Moms Community, their goal is provide useful and practical information to help further your social media longevity, build connections with other bloggers, and provide support and resources to suit your needs.
Bloggy Conference is, by far, one of the least expensive of all the blogging conferences at only $73 per ticket, not including hotel and travel. Past conference sponsors have included leading companies like Honda, Thirty-One, Homes.com and other great companies that are looking to partner with bloggers.
For more information on Bloggy Conference and what you might expect from this year’s conference, you can visit their site and follow the conference on Twitter and on Facebook. I can’t wait to see you there!
