One of this summer’s hottest movies, Disney’s Tomorrowland, is one that we’re absolutely excited about and are looking forward to its release. During our Monkey Kingdom Event press trip this month, we were able to see a 12 minute preview that hasn’t been seen anywhere else. It looks amazing; my jaw dropped and I marked its May 22 theatrical release on my calendar.
Much of the film involves a look into the future, or how they imagined the future. It got me thinking about the movies that we’ve watched that, back in their day, offered a look into our future, even if the the ‘future’ was the 2000s for them. Of course by now, we should have flying cars and robots as housekeepers, but in the meantime, take a look at these movies that gave us a glimpse into the future, now available for streaming on Netflix!
This is a compensated post as part of my partnership with Netflix as a member of their Stream Team. All opinions are my own, however. And, I have a lot of them. Not all shared here though. You look nice today. Thanks for stopping by!
