College or pro, no matter which sport, our family rarely cheers for the same team. One thing we can agree on is that Saturday college games and Sunday pro games need snacks that are quick and easy to make and something everyone loves. We don’t just grab a bag of chips and dip, my friends. We make our game days a full-day event. We’ve toss on our jerseys, maybe throw on a foam finger or two, crank up the big screen, and thank God we don’t have neighbors that can hear us screaming as we armchair-quarterback the crap out of our team.
We’ve just added a rookie to our team of game day snacks, and we’re happy with their performance so far. Foster Farms, a family-owned company since 1939, has an impressive selection of fresh and frozen foods and snacks that make meals and snack time a breeze.
We especially love their Buffalo Hot Wings and Hot ‘n Spicy wings! Because they’re easy to cook, I don’t have to miss pre-game highlights stuck in the kitchen. I throw them in the oven (sometimes literally if I’m in a hurry!) and about half an hour later, we’re enjoying spicy snacks, which we love, while cheering on our team!
We serve ours with some fresh cut celery and our homemade coleslaw along with the game day usuals – pretzels, chips, dip, and our favorite drinks.
