This is a Kia? Wait, this is a Kia? I asked it, my mom asked it, my fiance asked it; basically anyone who rode in the new Kia Sorento asked that same question. Repeatedly. While pushing buttons, enjoying the luxury of the interior and sharp design of the exterior, everyone asked, “This is a Kia?” Yes, it is. I swear. It’s the new Kia Sorento.
Ask my kids which feature they liked the best and you’ll get two completely different answers. For my toddler, she loved the Kia Sorento’s panoramic roof; she was able to see an almost 360° view from the confines of her car seat which didn’t make her hate her car seat so much. My teen prefers the roomy interior, especially that of the back seat, because that’s where he rides and feels like he’s missing out when we don’t let him ride in the front seat.
The funny thing about the Kia Sorento is that I was so enamored with all the details that it took me 3 days to notice that it had a 3rd row! The outside wasn’t obnoxiously long and the interior was so comfortable and full of technology and cool things (hello parents: there are built-in sunscreens in the windows!!!) that I just didn’t notice.
Ask me about my favorite feature? I can’t name just one – I honestly love the Kia Sorento and we’re seriously considering this as our next vehicle. The heated steering wheel, the auto open tailgate at the push of a single button, the safety features, the comfort, the heated leather seats… I could go on, but you wouldn’t understand until your drove one yourself. I used to own a Kia and never loved it as much as this, was never impressed with anything as much as I was this, and would have never considered another Kia until the Kia Sorento.

I loved this car. I miss test driving this car, and it’s one that our family would highly recommend. At the very least, take it for a test drive. You might be surprised it’s a Kia.
