Two and half years ago, we built our new home in the country. It’s seen a lot since then – whatever a teenaged boy, a young girl, and a mechanic husband can trudge in. You don’t realize how much there is to clean until you’re looking at greasy fingerprints on doors, a utility sink covered in mud and auto grease, “missed” items into the garbage can, and other family messes. Then, there’s all the things in the garage and repair shop that we keep clean.
This is all stuff that we’re realizing as we start spring cleaning. You wouldn’t think that with a new-ish house there’d be much to clean, but there definitely is.
A trusted brand for over 20 years, Mean Green
is known as a national and international, superior all-purpose cleaner for the toughest jobs around your house or garage. Their Mean Green Super Strength Cleaner & Degrease is the perfect multi-purpose cleaner to get out grease and eliminate grime from most surfaces. In our home, we’ve used it to tackle disgusting toilets, our utility sink, and even our grimy garbage cans.
Right now, I’m showing you what I hope that most people who visit our home will never see – our dirty toilets. With four people in the house, including two men, the toilets can become quite, uh, disgusting. Really disgusting. I’ve scrubbed. I’ve bleached. I’ve used stain erasing sponges. With Mean Green Super Strength Cleaner & Degreaser, the elbow grease is minimized, along with the stains!
The utility sink in our laundry room is ground zero for grease and grime. It’s where hubby washes car parts, it’s where we rinse containers for recycling, it’s where we pretreat our laundry, and it’s where hubby preps containers when he brews his own beer. This sink sees A LOT!
The “before” picture isn’t even the worst this sink has ever seen, but no matter what the mess my family (and even sometimes I) dish out, Mean Green gets it clean!
Soon, hubby will be starting the restoration on his 1951 Pontiac Chieftian. It’s not in great condition, and there’s plenty of work to do, but I know that our Mean Green cleaners will help. Stay tuned to see how we use Mean Green in our garage and shop and on other tough jobs around the house!
