I wish I could say that all my life, I’ve taken excellent care of my skin. Or, even that I could say I took pretty good care of it. The truth is, most of my life, I rarely wore sunscreen and was sunburned often, I never drink enough water, and sometimes I remember to wash and moisturize my face before bed.
I don’t think I’m the only one that has waited until the first few wrinkles have appeared to start freaking out about better skin care. But, I suppose it’s better late than never. That’s why I was so excited to try the at-home microdermabrasion kit, the MicrodermMD from Trophy Skin.
My skin definitely feels better and looks better. The major wrinkle between my eyes on my forehead has diminished and the bumps on the side of my face have gone away completely.
I LOVE it! And I love how smoothly my makeup goes on now that I have fresher, smoother skin. This photo is completely unedited. The only thing I did to it was to resize it. That’s 41-year-old skin that never had a chance, but now it feels and, in my opinion, looks so much better after only TWO treatments with MicrodermMD.
Here’s an unexpected benefit, though, and I really want to talk about this more than my own skin. Because, ugh, I still hate seeing photos of my goofy face.
My young daughter has Keratosis Pilaris (KP). If you don’t know what that is, it’s numerous small, rough bumps around the hair follicles on the upper arms, thighs, buttocks, and cheeks. She mostly has it on her upper arms, as do I.
Although Trophy Skin does not claim or offer that their product can help, we decided to give it a go anyway.
This was the result after one MicrodermMD treatment and some rose hip oil. That’s it. No editing to the photos other than resizing them. It’s not a HUGE difference, but she could immediately see the improvement and so could I. Again, that was after just one 60 second treatment.
It’s done wonders for her confidence and she’s not constantly scratching the area, either, which also means less chance of a skin infection.
If I could personally thank Trophy Skin for sending us the MicrodermMD to try in our home, I would. I definitely believe the machine has benefited us both and, considering microdermabrasion treatments are $75-$200 for EACH session, it’s also saved us a ton of money.
The Trophy Skin MicrodermMD is only $299 and, as you can see, a great investment. Even better? Get 15% off your purchase when you use the promo code SEASALT!
