In all honesty, there’s nothing more boring than plain ol’ vegetables… except maybe for those veggies that have been partially used for other recipes or are about to expire. Usually we throw them in a stir fry, but not all are “stir fry friendly”. Having a boring salad for lunch is fine unless your kids know what you’re up to – it’s like they have a 6th sense for when we’re creatively trying to utilize leftovers.

But, look what we can do with Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips and Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing!

Wishbone and Tyson can save tired old vegetables

We are an incredibly busy family of four. Just when we think we couldn’t be any busier, something else is added to our agenda. But together we make it work. We make sure to make time for each other and we’ve found that’s easiest at dinner. It doesn’t have to be a huge or extravagant dinner. In fact, we found that our finger food meals are the most fun, especially for the kids.

We want meals that are quick and healthy, full of protein and flavor. You’ll always find two things in our fridge or freezer –Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips and Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing!

With Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips, we can transform any salad, wrap, sauté, or sandwich into one that is packed with flavor and protein, and quickly! Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing has an amazing, rich taste that adds great flavor as a dressing or marinade.

Tyson Grilled & Ready Strips is a no-brainer addition to any salad

Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips and Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing also helps me transform boring, leftover, or nearly expired vegetables into a delicious meal!

Tyson and Wishbone help me transform boring vegetables

One of my favorite ways to use Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips and Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing is our “non-recipe recipe” for salad wraps. Whenever I need a power packed lunch or a fun finger food dinner for my family, I use the greenest greens (those have the most vitamins!), leftover and nutrient rich vegetables, along with Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips and Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing for added flavor.

Our non-recipe recipe will add fun to your dinner table

The kids really have fun because they can choose their own favorite vegetables (or fruit!) to wrap in their lettuce and we know they’re secretly eating healthy and no vegetables are being wasted, which saves us money. Butter Lettuce is the best to use for wraps, but romaine has a ton of Vitamin K and Green Leaf has Vitamin C. Iceberg is not a good lettuce to use and doesn’t contain as many nutrients as darker, leafier lettuce varieties.

Tyson® Grilled and Ready is made with 100% all natural ingredients and white meat chicken, so it’s an excellent choice for providing protein in your wraps. Plus, it’s fully cooked with no preservatives so it’s quick and smart.

Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing has a robust, full-flavor that is packed full of herbs, seasonings and flavors for an extra zesty boost of flavor. It also contains NO high fructose corn syrup.

Power packed and full of flavor salad wraps

Our whole family loves the fun of these salad wraps and the flavor is amazing since we use Tyson® Grilled and Ready Strips and Wish-Bone® Salad Dressing! They taste like they’re meant to go together, and since Tyson coupons can be found on Wishbone bottles and Wishbone coupons on Tyson products, I assume they’re meant to be 🙂

Tyson® coupons will be placed on Wishbone® Italian Dressing bottles saving you $.75 on ANY ONE (1) Tyson® Grilled & Ready Chicken. To save even more, Wish-Bone® coupons will be placed on Tyson® Frozen & Refrigerated Grilled & Ready products that will save you $.75 on ANY ONE (1) Wish-Bone Salad Dressing.

  • This is awesome! I only cook for two and always have weird halves of onions, half a container of mushrooms etc and they tend to go to waste. I’m not always super excited to make salads for lunch because sometimes in the morning, it just takes too much time! But you made those salads look so good I might just have to. Thanks for sharing 🙂
