This month, I walked into a very nondescript building somewhere near Emeryville, home of Pixar Studios. It’s a well protected, well built structure made to withstand almost any natural disaster. Inside Pixar Studios Archive is every sketch, statue, and idea that has ever been recorded in the history of Pixar Studios.
From the very first idea jotted down to the last animated cell of ever Pixar film, the Pixar Studios Archives is one where no other member of the press or any other blogger has been – until I walked through the doors this month.
Much of what you see here is original art and ideas from Pixar’s Toy Story, which is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary this year! We’ll have more on this next week, so stay tuned!
