Seneca Farms provides a healthy breakfast on the go

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. How many times have you heard this sentence? It’s always been the ol’ standby mantra repeated to us by our teachers, parents, grandparents, and anyone else trying to get us to eat healty when we were kids.

Oatmeal is a great option, but there hasn’t always been an easy-to-prepare and delicious option. Not to mention that it’s not simple to make unless it’s the microwave version. And really, how gross are those usually?

Seneca Farms Oatmeal & Fruit is the perfect choice for anyone who has trouble finding time for breakfast in the morning.  In less time than it takes to make a cup of coffee. Just heat the six-ounce microwaveable cup – no milk or water necessary – in the microwave for 45 seconds.

Seneca’s Oatmeal & Fruit has no trans fats or cholesterol, and is a great source of Vitamin C.
We tried their Apple Cinnamon and Vanilla Peach. I’m not a fan of anything peach flavored, but the Vanilla Peach was a mild, not overwhelming flavor and tasted more on the vanilla side. The Apple Cinnamon was also a subtle flavor, and provided a great on-the-go convenience that most breakfasts, especially healthy breakfasts, can’t provide.
Seneca Farms Oatmeal & Fruit is not only a quick and healthy breakfast option, but it is a satisfying mid-afternoon snack and it even works as part of a healthy weight loss plan for those looking to lose or maintain weight loss. And, with more flavors coming soon, there’s bound to be a flavor for anyone!

  • What’s so hard about throwing a half a cup of–REAL–oats and a cup of water in a bowl and nuking it for a minute?  If you have access to a microwave, you probably also have access to running water.  How lazy.
