How The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Can Keep Your Pets Healthier

The coolest stuff happens when you click these buttons!

How the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder can be a huge asset in homes with multiple pets or in homes where pets have eating restrictions or special diets. Products shown were provided to us for the purpose of this review. All opinions are our own.

Growing up, our family had a ton of pets. Horses, cats, an armadillo, lizards, snakes, and even a baby alligator (most of the exotics were when we were living in Florida). I swore that when I got my own home, I would never have any pets.

It should be noted here that I currently have two cats. They hate each other, constantly fighting over space and food. While I can’t control my cats fighting over window space any more than I can control my kids arguing, I’m now able to keep them from fighting over food, thanks to our new SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder!

SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder review

My husband’s cat had a habit of lying on one side of their double bowl while eating all the food in the other. My poor cat would feel the need to rush when she would eat and would end up getting sick from eating too quickly.

We tried feeding one at a time, we tried holding one back while the other ate – nothing seemed to work with them. While doing research online on how to prevent this behavior, I found SureFeed pet bowls and decided to give them a try!

SureFeed is the best way to keep pets separated while they eat, preventing each from eating the other's food.

SureFeed is the best way to keep pets separated while they eat, preventing each from eating the other’s food. Perfect for any home with multiple pets, pets that must eat special or prescription food, or pets on weight management diets.

The feeders are compatible with all identification microchips worldwide & SureFlap RFID collar tags (one is included with the SureFeed Pet Feeder). Each feeder is programmable for up to 32 pet IDs, so they’re even perfect for farms and pet adoption agencies.

Once a pet approaches the SureFeed pet feeder with their RFID tag, it opens for them.

There are only 3 buttons; one to program tags, one to open the feeder for cleaning or filling, and one training function button you’ll use while training your cat.

My cat took to the bowl right away. My husband’s cat was a little afraid of it at first. After a few days, however, he used it without incidence.

Bowls and mats are customizable by color and even with our incredibly messy eating cat, the bowls help keep the food area cleaner. And, because the feeder closes in between feeds, you’re less likely to have flies or bugs, or even the smell of cat food, lingering around your pet’s food.

The SureFeed RFID fits most cat collars

And, as an unexpected treat, we’ve found that because the RFID tag that opens their food bowl is attached to their collar, we have far fewer incidences of the cats removing their collars 😉
